Nicole Pounds

Nicole Pounds has a range of work experience in the fields of speech-language pathology, content and community development, clinical outreach, and international partnerships. Nicole began their career as a Speech Language Pathologist at Springfield Missouri Public Schools from August 2014 to May 2016. In 2016, Nicole joined DotCom Therapy as a Speech Language Pathologist and held this role until January 2020. Nicole then transitioned to become the Director of International Partners for a brief period from January 2020 to March 2020. From March 2020 to February 2023, Nicole served as the Director of Clinical Outreach at DotCom Therapy. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Content & Community at DotCom Therapy.

Nicole Pounds holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Pittsburg State University, which they obtained from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from Missouri State University, from 2012 to 2014. Nicole had also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the same institution, from 2008 to 2012. In terms of certifications, Nicole has obtained an SEO Certification from HubSpot in March 2023 and a Board Certified Telepractice Specialist certification from the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) in April 2020. Nicole is also licensed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a Speech Language Pathologist since January 2014. Additionally, Nicole holds a Certificate in Cultural Competency from Unite For Sight. Nicole is also certified by The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with a Certification of Clinical Competency.
