Jo Smith

Jo Smith is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology and software product management. Currently serving as the SnapGene Product Manager at Dotmatics since July 2020, Jo previously held roles at Biomatters as a UX Designer and Software Tester from July 2014 to June 2020. Earlier, Jo worked at The University of Auckland from 2004 to 2014 as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, demonstrating expertise in general biology, biochemistry, and microbiology. Additionally, Jo was a QC Scientist at Cozart plc for a brief period in 2005. Jo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Microbiology, both obtained from The University of Auckland.
