Dan Bomze has an extensive work experience that spans various industries and roles. In 1996, they started their career at IDEO working in strategy. Subsequently, they founded Scout Electromedia in 1998 and Innovation Arbitrage in 2000. From 2003 to 2005, they worked in business development at IDEO before founding CleanWell Company in 2005. In 2011, they joined IDEO again, this time working in partnerships and investing. In 2012, they founded Mobile Data Labs, the creators of MileIQ, which was eventually acquired by Microsoft in 2015. At Microsoft, they served as a GM and Partner from 2015 to 2019. Currently, as of 2021, they are the Founder and CEO of MileIQ - Mileage Tracking The Way You Need it to Work.
Dan Bomze attended John Burroughs School from 1987 to 1992. Dan then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Engineering - Product Design from Stanford University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
