Luis Somoza

Luis Somoza is a seasoned web developer with extensive experience in creating and maintaining software solutions for various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Web Developer at Double the Donation since March 2018, Luis focuses on software that enhances matching gift revenues for nonprofits and educational institutions. Previously, Luis contributed to The Weather Company as a Senior Web Developer, working on back office applications for a streaming service. From August 2008 to May 2017, Luis held the position of Senior Web Developer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where web applications were developed using the Microsoft .NET framework. Earlier experience includes serving as a Financial Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, providing econometric services and support for banking analytics. Luis holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
