Albert Kim has extensive experience in the technology industry. Albert began their career in 1993 as a UNIX Kernel Developer for OARnet. In 1994, they founded Digitus, Inc. and served as the CEO and Founder. In 1997, they worked as a Senior Software Architect for PwC. From 1999 to 2001, they were the CTO of Digital Life Korea, Co. where they managed a product development and R&D team of 15. Albert then moved on to Wiz Information Technology, Ltd., Co. where they served as the CTO from 2001 to 2004. During this time, they managed an R&D lab of 12 people and conducted multiple government R&D projects. Albert also managed and directed several multi-year R&D consortiums. In 2004, they founded Zenitum, Inc. where they developed computer vision algorithm and solutions for entertainment uses. Albert was also responsible for the 1st voice-activated virtual personal assistant for Windows, Netavarta. In 2010, they founded Voxelogram, Inc., which is now DoubleMe, Inc. where they served as the Founder and CEO until 2014.
Albert Kim obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from Northwestern University between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, they completed a BSE in Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University between 1991 and 1994. Albert also attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1990 to 1991, studying Physics.
