Dan Manian is the cofounder and CEO of Donut, where responsibilities include strategic leadership since 2016. In addition to this role, Dan serves as an adjunct lecturer at Brown University, teaching a focused course on lean startup methodologies. Dan has contributed to various educational initiatives as a mentor for Steve Blank's Lean LaunchPad course at Stanford University and previously mentored teams at the Alchemist Accelerator and served as adjunct faculty for the National Science Foundation's I-Corps program. Dan's extensive industry experience includes positions as VP of Product at Sookasa and Luidia, alongside a consulting practice focused on product strategy and customer development. Dan holds multiple degrees, including an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and MBAs from Columbia Business School and the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, along with a Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University.
