Kanesha Howard

Kanesha Howard has served as an Instructional Coach in the Douglas County School System since August 2016, where responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the Georgia Standards of Excellence, facilitating professional learning for teachers, analyzing school data for continuous improvement, and collaborating on assessments. Additionally, Kanesha has experience as the Site Coordinator for the 21st Century Community Learning Center, focusing on action planning and program management. Prior to this role, Kanesha was an Elementary Teacher at Sweetwater Elementary School from August 2007 to May 2016, co-writing a successful grant to establish a STEM after-school program. Educational qualifications include a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Early & Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University.
