Eric Smith has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Eric started their career as a Warehouse Clerk at Mechanical Equipment Inc. in 2010 and worked there until 2013.
In 2013, Eric transitioned to Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where they had two roles as a Student Employee. Eric worked in Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Management, where they performed office administration tasks, managed files, and created work files using Adobe Lifecycle and Google Drive.
After their time at the university, Eric joined Pelton & Crane in 2015 as a Mechanical Engineer Intern. Eric later became a Manufacturing Engineer, and their responsibilities included mechanical design and engineering support until 2018.
Eric then worked at Nutramax Laboratories as a Manufacturing Engineer from 2018 to 2019, focusing on optimizing production processes.
In 2020, Eric joined PTI (Polymer Technologies Inc.) as a Project Engineer, where they handled project management and engineering tasks until 2022.
Currently, Eric is employed as a Process Engineer at Douglas Electrical Components, Inc. starting in 2022.
