Syed Sikandar Shah, M.D., FAPA has held the position of Chief Medical Officer at SUN Behavioral Delaware since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Medical Director at Dover Behavioral Health System since December 2015.

Dr. Syed Sikandar Shah completed their education in the field of medicine and psychiatry. Syed Sikandar attended Khyber Medical College from 2001 to 2008, where they obtained their M.B.B.S / M.D degree in Medicine. Following this, they pursued a Psychiatry Residency Program at Drexel University College of Medicine from 2011 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Syed Sikandar Shah obtained the American Board of Addiction Medicine certification from the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) in January 2021. Syed Sikandar also acquired the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. in December 2017.
