Daniel Landers has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Daniel started their career as a Web Developer at Chaos Digital, where they worked on freelance web development projects for small businesses. Daniel then joined Xero as an Operations Developer, where they focused on improving continuous integration and deployment processes and monitoring systems. Daniel also played a role in reducing application build times and re-architecting deployment tooling.
After that, Landers joined Keepsite as the CTO, where they rebuilt the platform using Node.js and React, grew the engineering team, and took on various responsibilities including technical leadership, product discovery, and budgeting. Daniel then worked at Voxels as a Senior React Native Developer, where they developed the company's first mobile project and successfully guided it to completion.
Landers then moved to Paloma (previously Dovetail) as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a mobile virtual card project for the US market. Daniel later became the Tech Lead and led a skilled engineering team in expanding the codebase to support multiple regions. Daniel also played a pivotal role in the development of an institutional cryptocurrency trade settlement engine.
Their latest role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Paloma, where they serve as the Tech Lead at Taper and led the engineering team to launch and stabilize the Taper SaaS platform. Daniel is now focused on refining and growing the product.
