Gary Ransom

Gary Ransom joined Dowling & Partners in 2010 and is responsible for covering a number of large companies in the property & casualty sector. Mr. Ransom has more than 20 years of experience. In 2012, Mr. Ransom was selected to be on the panel of analysts that asked questions of Warren Buffett at the 2012 Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting Prior to joining Dowling, Mr. Ransom was an analyst with Fox-Pitt Kelton and Conning & Company. He began his career as an actuary with Travelers in 1976. Mr. Ransom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Washington. Gary is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
