Sharla Moretti, RN, MSM, currently serves as Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Down East Community Hospital, a position held since June 2020. Prior to this role, Sharla held the title of Director of Surgical Services at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital and Maine Coast Memorial Hospital from April 2018 to June 2020. Sharla's career includes experience as Surgery Center Nurse Manager at InterMed, P.A., where responsibilities encompassed the direction and coordination of clinical and operational aspects of surgical services. Sharla began the nursing career at Eastern Maine Medical Center, working in various capacities, including intensive care and pre-operative/post-operative care. Education includes ongoing studies for a Doctor of Health Administration at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Husson University.
