Yakov Terterian

Yakov Terterian is an experienced professional in health, safety, and sustainability, currently serving as the Group Manager for Zero Harm Reporting and Data Analytics at Downer since March 2017. In this role, Yakov leads the integration of advanced technology with safety and sustainability practices, ensuring optimal performance of core safety and sustainability Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Prior to this, Yakov held various positions at Downer, including Zero Harm Manager for Performance and Programs and Critical Risk Program Lead, where focus was on performance reviews, risk management, and the implementation of zero harm initiatives. Yakov's earlier experience includes significant roles at Lendlease, such as EHS Manager for Assurance and National EHS Program Manager, contributing to EHS system implementation and innovative strategic initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Science (Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management) from Western Sydney University, complemented by certifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Human Resource Management.
