Rosemary Banyard

Rosemary Banyard is an experienced fund manager with a robust background in investment management. Currently serving as a Fund Manager at Downing LLP since March 2020, Rosemary launched the VT Downing Unique Opportunities Fund, focusing on a select portfolio of businesses with sustainable competitive advantages. Prior to this role, Rosemary worked at Sanford DeLand Asset Management Ltd from October 2016 to June 2019, where management of the Free Spirit Fund was continued until mid-2019. Additionally, Rosemary was an Investment Director and Co-Head of the Pan European Small Cap team at Schroders from 1997 to 2016. Career beginnings include positions as a Fund Manager at AIB Govett and Senior Investment Analyst at James Capel & Co. Educational qualifications encompass an MBA from London Business School and a degree in Classics from the University of Cambridge.
