Genevieve Brogdon

Genevieve Brogdon is a dedicated music educator with extensive experience in teaching string instruments and general music. Currently serving as a Strings and General Music Teacher at Downingtown Area School District since July 2014, Genevieve directs the sixth-grade orchestra and offers interactive music classes designed around 21st-century educational practices. Genevieve also provides private music instruction at Greensleeves Music and serves as a Strings Instructor at CEO Music Camp, where curriculum development focuses on musicianship and technical skills for students from 1st to 12th grade. Genevieve has gained valuable experience through an internship at the Philadelphia Orchestra Association and as a counselor at Beacon Lodge Camp, where musical programs were developed for children and adults with special needs. Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Cello Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, obtained between 2009 and 2014.
