Thando Makhunga

Thando Makhunga currently serves as a Non Executive Board Member at CAPASSO and as Vice Chairperson of the Music Publishers' Association of South Africa, both positions held since early 2023. In addition, Thando is the Managing Director of Sheer Publishing Africa at Downtown Music Services since January 2022. Previous experience includes a role in broadcasting at 947 from November 2013 to January 2022, where Thando also held the position of Station Manager from August 2018 to December 2021. Prior to this, Thando worked in radio with Primedia Broadcasting and East Coast Radio. Educational background includes studies at the University of Cape Town and the GIBS Business School.
