Pete Settelmayer

Pete Settelmayer is an experienced leader in the education and non-profit sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of the Los Angeles Harbor since August 2024. Previously, Pete held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Downtown College Prep from July 2021 to July 2024. Additionally, an extensive tenure at City Year San Jose included positions as VP Executive Director and Vice President, Executive Director from June 2017 to July 2021. Prior experience encompasses the role of Executive Director at Westside Atlanta Charter School from June 2013 to June 2017 and various administrative and principal roles within Atlanta Public Schools from July 2008 to June 2017. Pete's early career at The Walt Disney Company spanned the years 1990 to 2000 in theme park and consumer products. Pete holds a Master of Science in Education in Urban Educational Leadership from Georgia State University, completed between 2005 and 2007.
