Prior roles include Senior Specialist and Service Coordinator within the organization's Downtown Environment sector, where Amanda manages the BID Tree Health Program and provides urban forestry expertise. Previous professional experience includes work as a Forester with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, where Amanda coordinated Green Infrastructure projects and developed tree risk mitigation techniques. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Environmental Monitoring & Modelling from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, as well as a Dual Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Geographic Information Systems from SUNY Oneonta.
