Laura Borsecnik

Laura Borsecnik is an experienced event management professional currently serving as the Special Events Manager at Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. since September 2012. In this role, Laura oversees film permit approvals and guides event planners through the permit process. Previously, Laura held positions including Concierge Service Management for Dr. Jay Gordon and Grants Administrator at Roll International, where Laura managed significant employee giving programs. Earlier experience includes Program Director at Southern California Grantmakers and Organizational Development Manager at Hostelling International. Laura Borsecnik holds a Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Nonprofit and Urban Planning from The New School and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
