Reid Senescu

Reid Senescu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2003, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Research Center for Disaster Reduction Systems, Kyoto University. Reid then joined Stanford University's Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) in 2007 as a Research Assistant. From 2004 to 2011, Reid worked at Arup as an Engineer, where they conducted research and development, implemented 3D Building Information Modeling for construction documentation, and taught others to implement the new process.

In 2011, Reid became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University's Center for Design Research. After that, they founded CloudLeaps in 2012, serving as the Founder and CEO. CloudLeaps aimed to empower professionals by leveraging user interactions with enterprise content to improve search and enable better decision-making. Reid also worked as Vice President of Product at Rhumbix from 2015 to 2016, where they led fundraising efforts, developed financial and business models, and researched users and markets.

Reid earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Technology Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.

Reid then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2002 to 2004. Building upon their previous academic accomplishments, Reid later attended Stanford University, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Reid conducted their doctoral studies from 2007 to 2011.
