Andrew Brake has a diverse work experience. Andrew is currently working as a Digital Health Fellow at Doximity. Prior to this, they worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Eagle Physicians & Associates, P.A., where they provided healthcare services to patients of all ages. Andrew also owns Stick9, a company with two divisions: music merchandising and internet sales of music stickers. Andrew has also worked as a Telehealth Fellow at Doximity and as a PRN Registered Nurse at Cone Health. Andrew has a background in nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Tech/Nurse Secretary at Cone Health. Andrew also worked as a Financial Advisor at VALIC and Edward Jones Investments, providing retirement plans to different organizations. Andrew started their career as an Office Manager at an Optometry Practice.

Andrew Brake earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Pre-Medical, with a minor in Business, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2001. In 2003, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the same institution. Andrew furthered their education by attending Guilford Technical Community College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Nursing. In 2015, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Fayetteville State University. Andrew then pursued a Master's Degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner from Winston-Salem State University, graduating in 2018. Andrew also holds several certifications, including Medical-Surgical Nursing RN-BC and FNP-BC (Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), NP (Nurse Practitioner), and RN (Registered Nurse) from various institutions and licensing boards.
