Daniel Curilla

Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure at Doximity

Daniel Curilla began their work experience as a Data Scientist at IBM in September 2017, where they developed a Machine Learning pipeline for processing geospatial data and trained 3D Convolutional Neural Networks. Daniel also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at IBM, where they led the research and development of a deep learning solution using high dimensional inputs for 2D Convolutional Neural Networks. In May 2021, Daniel joined Virtuo as a Software Engineer, where they developed Azure microservices and worked on cross-platform development using Xamarin Forms. Daniel then worked as a Data Engineer at Hootsuite from April 2022 to April 2023. Currently, Daniel is a Software Engineer at Doximity, specializing in data infrastructure.

Daniel Curilla attended the University of Calgary from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geophysics & Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they also completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in August 2018 and the Full Stack Open 2021 certification from the University of Helsinki in January 2022.
