Luke Miele has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Luke started their career at the San Francisco Zoo as a Zoo Camp Instructor and Wild Nights Tour Guide from May 2010 to August 2014. In 2009, they joined City Aikido as an Uchideshi, where they stayed until 2016. From 2011 to 2016, Luke worked at Pocket Gems as a Mobile Test Engineer. In 2017, they joined AcroSports Gymnastics & Circus Arts as an Acrobat Instructor, focusing on circus arts, parkour, gymnastics, and trampoline. Luke also worked as an Operations Manager at In the Wilderness from February 2017 to September 2019. Luke's most recent role is at Doximity, where they have been a part of the Web Team and is currently working as a Quality Assurance Engineer since January 2019.
Luke Miele's education history begins in 2005, when they enrolled at California State University, Chico. Luke pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Statistics, which they completed in 2009.
In 2016, Luke attended the San Francisco School of Massage and Bodywork, where they obtained a certification as a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT). Luke studied Anatomy and healthcare during their time at the school.
Luke continued their education in 2019 at NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) and obtained a certification in Wilderness First Responder. This program focused on First Responder training and healthcare.
Luke also holds several additional certifications. In 2017, they received their Certified Massage Therapist certification from CAMTC (California Massage Therapy Council). In May 2019, Luke became a certified sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft System) Pilot through the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Flight Standards District. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Epinephrine Auto-injector, Online CPR/AED and First Aid Combo Course, and Wilderness First Responder, all earned in January 2019 through NOLS.
