Torben Ekenberg has extensive work experience in various leadership and project management roles. Torben is currently serving as the Head of R&D at DPA Microphones A/S. Previously, they were the Director of the Project Department at BK Medical, where they oversaw project managers and was responsible for project governance and execution. Torben also held the position of Director of PM Competence Center at NNE Pharmaplan. Prior to that, they were the Project Director at Contex, managing R&D for Mechanics, QA, and Project Center. Torben Ekenberg has also worked as the R&D Manager for Transducer Development at Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S and as a Project Manager at Glunz & Jensen A/S. Additionally, they served as a Captain in The Royal Danish Artillery and held various roles, including PTA Manager and Development Engineer and Project Manager, at GN Nettest. Torben started their career as a Development Engineer at RE Instruments.
Torben Ekenberg's education history begins in 1979 when they attended National Defence Denmark and obtained a degree in Officer with a field of study in Captain - R. Torben then went on to enroll in Danish Engineering Academy from 1981 to 1985 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electro mechanical Engineering. Following this, from 1990 to 1991, Torben attended National Defence, Denmark, where they acquired a degree in Captain with a field of study in Military Strategy and Tactics. Lastly, in 2001 to 2003, Torben pursued an Executive MBA at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, specializing in Innovation Management and Strategy.
