Helen Arantes Carlos

Helen Arantes Carlos currently serves as Head of Procurement at The Hershey Company, leading both Direct and Indirect procurement for the region while reporting to the USA as of April 2024. Previously, Helen held the position of Procurement Manager at Nestlé, overseeing a team of 10 and managing significant expenditures in the DPA Brasil region from March 2023 to April 2024. From December 2019 to March 2023, Helen worked at Prometeon Tyre Group, where responsibilities included managing a substantial spend, leading a team, and developing global sourcing strategies. Prior experience includes various procurement and operational roles at Saint Gobain, beginning with an internship and culminating as Procurement Coordinator. Helen's educational background encompasses a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais and a Master's degree in Leadership, Innovation, and Management 4.0 from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, along with international scholarly experience at the University of Duisburg-Essen as part of the "Ciência sem Fronteiras" program.
