Srujan Bhagwat has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries and roles. Srujan is currently working at DPS Group Global as a CQV Project Lead since August 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC, where they held positions as an Engineer II, CQV from December 2020 to July 2021, and as an Engineer I, CQV from November 2019 to December 2020.
Before joining IPS, Srujan worked at Baebies as a Scientist from April 2019 to November 2019, where they conducted analytical validation for enzymatic assays and developed quality control and stability assays. Srujan also served as an Assay Development Intern at Baebies from May 2018 to March 2019, where they gained experience in optimizing enzymatic assays and conducting enzyme stability and specificity studies.
Srujan has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they coordinated a class, evaluated exams and presentations, and recruited guest speakers from January 2018 to May 2018. Before that, they worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the same university, overseeing an online class, responding to student inquiries, and creating and grading exams from August 2016 to December 2016.
In addition, Srujan gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Matthew Fisher Lab, North Carolina State University, where they conducted research in near field electrospinning of polymer scaffolds and collagen production by pig chondrocytes from November 2015 to December 2016. Srujan also worked as a Process Development Intern at Integrated BioChem, investigating the thermal separation of fatty acid methyl esters and their chemical alteration for adhesive production from October 2015 to April 2016.
Earlier in their career, Srujan worked as an Instructor at the Mens Health Teaching Group, UNC, from August 2014 to December 2014, and as an Intern at Apex Physical Therapy, where they organized the transition to paperless record keeping, managed appointments, and designed promotional materials from February 2012 to January 2013.
Srujan Bhagwat completed a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science Engineering from North Carolina State University between 2013 and 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Biomanufacturing at the same university from 2017 to 2018.
