Joel Wilson

Joel Wilson is an experienced footwear designer currently serving as Footwear Design Lead for Dr. Martens plc since November 2017, with previous roles including Senior Footwear Designer and Footwear Designer within the Energy (AMP) division. Prior to Dr. Martens, Joel held the position of Footwear Designer at ellesse and worked at Pentland Brands as a Boxfresh Footwear and Accessories Designer. Early career experiences include a Junior Footwear Designer role at Boxfresh International Limited and a brief engagement as a Junior Print Designer at Lacoste. Joel's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Design from Leeds Arts University, a Foundation degree in Design and Applied Arts from Stamford College, and a National Diploma in Music Technology from Leicester College.
