Global Head Of Product Insights & GTM at Dr. Martens

Sam Fereday-Breese has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as a Performance Analyst in professional football with Prozone Sports Ltd and Sheffield Wednesday Football Club from 2007 to 2010. Following that, Sam worked at adidas group as an Assistant Merchandiser in Retail Space Management from 2009 to 2010, and later as a Merchandising Executive and Merchandising Manager in North Europe from 2010 to 2013.

From 2013 to 2014, Sam worked at Lacoste as a Global Product Line Manager for Lacoste Footwear, where they were responsible for developing and managing a world-class product line, conducting market research, and collaborating with the Design Team to create globally relevant product lines.

Currently, Sam holds various roles at Dr. Martens plc. They started as a Global Product Manager for Men's Footwear from 2014 to 2015, followed by a role as a Global Category Manager for Men's Footwear & Accessories from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Head of Product for the Americas region, and then as the VP Product Merchandising for the Americas from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Sam holds the position of Global Head Concept to Consumer, which involves leading and establishing the Global Go-to-Market (GTM) calendar and product plan across the business at Dr. Martens plc.

In November 2022, Sam will transition to the role of Global Head of Product Insights & GTM at Dr. Martens plc.

Sam Fereday-Breese attended Leeds Beckett University from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business & Sports Development.
