Antonio Diaz Tula has been working in the field of computer science since 2007. Antonio began their career as a Computer Science Professor at the Universidad de Oriente. In 2015, they took on a Post-doc Researcher role at the Instituto de Matemática e Estatística - Universidade de São Paulo (IME-USP), where they were responsible for research in the areas of eye tracking and gaze-based interaction in wearable platforms. In 2016, they became a Bioinformatician at the Institute of Chemistry - University of Sao Paulo, where they were responsible for the installation, management, and technical support of bioinformatics tools for metagenomic and metatranscriptomic data analysis. In 2017, they took on two roles; Head of Digital Image Processing at Dr. TIS, where they were responsible for the design, development, integration, and maintenance of DICOM web viewers, and a Statistician Consultant at Independent Statistician Consultant, where they were responsible for full statistical analysis of data, ranging from usability to medical studies.
Antonio Diaz Tula obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Universidad de Oriente. Cuba between 2002 and 2007. Antonio then completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science at the same university between 2007 and 2010. Finally, they earned a PhD in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2011 and 2015.
