Jens Tienken

Jens Tienken has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jens began their career in 1987 at Hapag-Lloyd AG, where they underwent training as a Schifffahrtskaufmann until 1990. Jens then worked as a Prüfungsassistent at Arthur Andersen & Co. from December 1995 to May 1996. Following this, they joined Bernhard Schulte GmbH & Co. KG as a Financial Controller from June 1996 to September 1998.

In 1998, Jens joined Dräger, where they spent the majority of their career. Jens started as a Beteiligungscontrolling from November 1998 to July 2001. Jens then moved on to Inhouse Consulting / Internal Audit from August 2001 to June 2008. Jens'snext role at Dräger was Head of Finance and Controlling, Region Europa Nord Medical from July 2008 to April 2012. Subsequently, they served as Head of Finance & Controlling, Region Europa Central / DACH from May 2012 to June 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Controlling Medical Division at Dräger, starting in July 2021.

Jens Tienken attended the University of Hamburg from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre.
