Rob Cermak

Vice President, Medical Service & Implementation at Dräger

Rob Cermak, MBA has a diverse work experience in the field service operations and medical service industry. Rob started their career at Olympus Corporation of the Americas, where they held various managerial roles, including Area Service Director and Manager of Software Application Specialists. During their time at Olympus, Rob was responsible for managing service teams, overseeing budgets, and implementing training programs.

In 2007, Rob joined Olympus as the Director of Field & Support Services, where they led national Field Service and Technical Call Center teams. Rob also played a key role in establishing service standards and guidelines, launching the company's first National Service Meeting.

After their tenure at Olympus, Rob joined Dräger in 2018 as the Director of Field Service Operations. Rob quickly moved up the ranks, taking on roles such as Senior Director and Vice President. In their current role as Vice President of Medical Service & Implementation, Rob oversees the implementation of medical services and manages a team of professionals.

Throughout their career, Rob has been responsible for operational excellence, managing large service networks, and driving revenue growth. Rob has a track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams in the medical service industry.

Rob Cermak, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Malone University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Electronic Technology from The University of Akron, completing it from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their educational qualifications, Rob has obtained various certifications, including "5 Ways to Control Your Time" from LinkedIn, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute, and an A+ CompTIA certification from CompTIA.
