Ricardo Gomes

Ricardo Gomes has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field. Ricardo began their career in 2009 as an Assistant System Administrator Intern at Universidade Portucalense. In 2015, they worked as an EnerGAware Project Developer at CISTER - Research Centre in Real-Time and Embedded Computing Systems. In 2016, they held two positions as a Software Developer Intern at Vodafone and a Full Stack Web Developer at SMARKIO. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at SWORD Health, first as a Senior Backend Engineer and then as a Tech Lead, where they were responsible for leading a software development team, mentoring engineers, and aligning them with software development best practices. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Dragonboat.

Ricardo Gomes attended the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto from 2013 to 2016 studying Informatics & Software Engineering. From 2014 to 2015, they attended the ISEP Cisco Academy and obtained a CCNA Routing & Switching degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. Additionally, they attended the Escola Secundária de Valongo from 2007 to 2009 and completed an Informatics Course.
