Michael Cooney

Michael Cooney has a diverse work experience in investment and business development. Michael started as a Business Development Summer Analyst at Rock Ventures LLC in 2015, followed by roles as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst and later an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2016 and 2017. Michael then transitioned to The Blackstone Group as a Private Equity Associate in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Investor and Principal at Dragoneer Investment Group since 2021.

Michael Cooney attended Brother Rice High School from 2009 to 2013, where they graduated as Valedictorian. Michael then went on to study Finance at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from 2013 to 2017.
