Hillary Shane

Principal Scientist/ Flow Cytometry Core Manager at Dragonfly Therapeutics

Hillary Shane has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an APHL Emerging Infectious Diseases Training Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in 2007 to 2009. Following that, they worked as a PHD Graduate Student at the University of Georgia from 2009 to 2014. Hillary then joined CDC/NIOSH in 2015 as a Research Biologist- Associate Service Fellow, where they worked until 2021. In December 2021, they transitioned to Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc., initially as a Flow Core Manager and Scientist II, and later assumed the role of Senior Scientist / Flow Cytometry Core Manager starting in May 2023.

Hillary Shane completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Pittsburgh between 2003 and 2007. Hillary further pursued their education at The University of Georgia, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular Biology/Immunology from 2009 to 2014.
