Joseph Kopena

Joseph Kopena is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in computer networking and information management for mobile and extreme environments. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Drakontas LLC since April 2019, Joseph previously held the position of Chief Scientist at Bellerophon Mobile from January 2013 to March 2019. Joseph's early career included a role as a Graduate Research Fellow at Drexel University from 2000 to 2012, where research spanned low-cost robotics in education, electromechanical engineering, semantic web technologies, and machine interoperability. Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Drexel University.
