Jaime Cavero Gandarias

Jaime Cavero Gandarias is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in fostering startup ecosystems. Currently serving as the co-founder of EmprendES and president of mentorDay, Jaime organizes monthly acceleration weeks in Tenerife that connect entrepreneurs with over 70 volunteer experts. Jaime also holds the title of Business Ambassador at PROEXCA within the Government of Canarias, facilitating business installations in the region. As an ambassador co-organizer for the Global Entrepreneurship Network and co-organizer of Startup Europe Week, Jaime plays a key role in promoting entrepreneurship through collaborative initiatives. Additionally, Jaime is a business angel and founder of DYRECTO CONSULTORES, leading efforts to secure financing for companies and managing the first business center in the Canary Islands. With a robust educational background that includes an MBA from IE Business School, Jaime also imparts knowledge as a professor of entrepreneurship at IUDE.
