Jerry Wohletz is the President & CEO at Draper. Jerry was previously the Vice President and General Manager of Electronic Combat Solutions at BAE Systems from November 2015 to June 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the portfolio profit and loss for BAE Systems' Electronics Systems Sector, focused on all stages of electronic warfare (EW) product life-cycle – capture, development, production, and sustainment. The electronic combats solutions (ECS) business area brought together four innovative product portfolios totaling $1.75B in annual revenues. As the EW industry leader with products installed on 80% of US military fighters, Dr. Wohletz led a dual transformation XtremeEW2.0 (EWX2.0) strategy focused on reinventing the core business, creating new growth drivers, and re-imaging the future of EW to maintain market leadership into 2040; over two financial cycles, this strategy delivered 16% revenue and 49% margin growth. Dr. Wohletz served as the executive interface for an extensive customer base that included senior Department of Defense officials as well as global defense organizations.
Prior to this role, Jerry Wohletz was the Senior Director of Electronic Attack Solutions at BAE Systems from January 2008 to December 2015.
Jerry Wohletz earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Estimation and Control from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science with Highest Distinction from The University of Kansas. Jerry also attended BAE Systems High-Potential Executive Training.
