Hor-Kan Chan

Hor-kan Chan began their work experience as a J2ME Developer at Javaground USA in 2005. Hor-kan analyzed cell phone software implementations and developed patches to resolve specification inconsistencies. Hor-kan then worked as a Software Engineer at Nextlabs, designing and maintaining the Policy Server. At Centrify Corporation, they started as a Software Engineer, maintaining web integration modules, and later became a Senior Software Engineer, creating the Centrify Browser Extension. Hor-kan eventually became the Lead Engineer for the SaaS team, managing a team of 4 people and leading the architecture of the Centrify Browser Extension. At Okta, Inc., they started as a Principal Software Engineer, leading the UI and Plugins team. Hor-kan then worked as a Software Development Manager, overseeing four teams, and later became a Senior Software Engineering Manager, overseeing multiple teams in various technical domains. Finally, they became the Director of Engineering, overseeing six teams at Drata.
