Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the realm of educational technology. Since July 2010, Chris has been with SMART Technologies, contributing to the design of hardware and firmware for innovative interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris served as an electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair, and worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier experience includes developing control systems for harvesting equipment at Grindcom. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
