Clare Westwood

Clare Westwood has extensive experience in animal care and management within various zoological settings. Currently serving as Mammal Team Leader at Drayton Manor Resort Limited since January 2022, Clare previously held significant roles at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve & Howletts Wild Animal Park, including Section Head Carnivores and Senior Carnivore Keeper. Earlier positions include Experienced Large Mammal Keeper at Blackpool Zoo and Head Keeper at Wildlife Heritage Foundation UK, where responsibilities encompassed managing the keeping team and overseeing animal department operations. Clare's foundational experience began at Dudley Zoo & Castle and West Midland Safari Park. Academic qualifications include a BSc in Zoology from the University of Derby and a CMI First Line Management degree from Sparsholt College.
