Jim Neuner has a diverse range of work experience in the arts and nonprofit sectors. Jim currently works as a Community Manager at BookLive and as the Managing Director of Mad Rogues Theatre Company. In 2019, they also served as a Board Member at ArtWorks for Milwaukee, Inc.
From 2012 to 2018, Jim worked at Artists Repertory Theatre as the Director of Finance and Administration. In this role, they managed financial management and reporting for the $3M non-profit theatre and implemented various cloud-based solutions for CRM, accounting, POS, access control, HR, and email.
From 2010 to 2018, Jim worked at The A.C.T. Conservatory in multiple roles, including Finance Consultant, Controller, Finance Associate, and Marketing Intern. Jim played a key role in the organization's financial management and reporting, oversaw the growth of their endowment investment fund, and implemented new systems and software for investment fund allocation and reporting.
Jim also served as a Board Member at Portland Area Theatre Alliance from 2017 to 2018 and worked as the Director of Business Services at Girl Scouts of Hawai`i from 2010 to 2012, where they managed their business information systems and oversaw the implementation of hosted application and data servers.
In addition, Jim has been involved in various theater-related roles, such as serving on the Theatre Services Committee at Theatre Bay Area from 2006 to 2010, working as Box Office Staff at Magic Theatre in 2002, and serving as a Bookkeeper at San Francisco Shakespeare Festival in 2002.
Jim Neuner completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree at Marquette University from 1988 to 1993. Jim then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Francisco School of Management from 1999 to 2002. Prior to their university studies, Jim Neuner attended Marquette University High School from 1984 to 1988.
