Hamza Azam, PMP, CSM

Hamza Azam has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Hamza currently serves as a Project Manager Scrum Master at a financial industry company since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Miipe Quality Solutions, where they held multiple positions including Consultant, Senior Professional Services Analyst, and QA Analyst from May 2018 to April 2021.

From August 2016 to May 2018, Hamza worked at Allstate Insurance Company of Canada as a Business Technology Support Coordinator, Business Solutions, and also as a Data Quality Technician. Hamza started their career as a part-time IT Trainee and later worked as a Database Administrator at The Hospital for Sick Children from May 2014 to April 2015.

Previously, they served as a Business Development Officer at Enactus SIFE Ryerson from October 2012 to May 2014 and as a System Administrator at NAMF in June to August 2013.

Hamza also gained experience as an Office Clerk at L'Amoreaux Collegiate Institute from September 2011 to June 2012. Throughout their career, they have showcased their versatility in various job roles within different industries.

Hamza Azam, PMP, A-CSM, holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business Technology Management from Ryerson University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at L'Amoreaux C.I from 2008 to 2012, earning their High School Diploma. Before their high school years, Hamza attended The Westminster School from 2004 to 2006, but no specific degree or field of study information is available for that period.

In addition to their educational background, Hamza has obtained several certifications related to their field. Hamza achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020. Hamza also holds the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they received in July 2019. Most recently, Hamza obtained the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2023.
