Simo McUnu

Simo Mcunu has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Simo currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (Africa) at DreamzCMMS since 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at DreamzTech Solutions Inc. from 2018, where they were responsible for operational and revenue generating activities in Africa.

Throughout their career, Simo has held several advisory board member positions at companies such as Aventi Technologies Ltd., Omanye Limited, BITSSA: Multi Crypto-Currency Exchange, BTCGhana, and Priatek. Simo also worked as the President of African Payments Alliance and as the VP of Strategic Partnerships at WharfStreetStrategies.

Besides these roles, Simo has been involved in coordinating African operations at the Blockchain World Summit.

Simo Mcunu obtained an Associate's Degree in Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators SA (ICSA SA) from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2016. In the same year, they also received a Certificate of Competence in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Toastmasters International. Prior to that, Simo Mcunu earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Science from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.
