Rieko Sakurai

Rieko Sakurai is a highly experienced professional in the fields of business development and research and development, currently serving as the General Manager of the Drecom Invention Project (DRIP) at Drecom Co., Ltd. since May 2017, focusing on blockchain and web3 technologies. Prior to this role, Rieko held various positions including Team Lead of New Business Development at coconala inc and CEO of HappyHoppyHappy, a subsidiary of Drecom. With a robust background at Drecom Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2013, Rieko contributed significantly to social game planning, marketing, and corporate development. Earlier experience includes a role as a Business Consultant at IBM, specializing in business process consulting. Rieko holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Waseda University.
