Tejas Karhadkar

Scientist-II, Myeloid biology, Immunology at Dren Bio

Tejas Karhadkar has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Starting in 2021, they served as a Scientist-II in Myeloid biology and Immunology at Dren Bio, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist-I in the same field from 2021 to 2022. From 2015 to 2020, Tejas pursued a PhD at Texas A&M University. In 2012, they worked as a Research Technician at UT Southwestern, where they studied molecular events in animal development and utilized CRISPR/Cas-9 gene-editing technology. Tejas also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas from 2012 to 2013, where they conducted workshops and proctored exams. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Quality Control Technician at ACG Capsules.

Tejas Karhadkar completed their education as follows:

- From 2005 to 2010, they attended the University of Mumbai and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology.

- Then, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued their studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree with a focus on Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.

- Finally, from 2015 to 2020, they attended Texas A&M University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biology, with a specialization in Immunology.
