Alanna Watts is a seasoned professional in product development and research within the food industry, currently serving as a Senior New Product Development Specialist at Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream since October 2020. Prior to this role, Alanna spent over 12 years at Nestlé, contributing as a Project Manager and member of the R&D Ice Cream Leadership Team, overseeing complex product and process development projects. Alanna’s extensive experience also includes roles such as Research and Development Scientist, where collaboration with experts in various fields drove innovations in ice cream technology, and Laboratory Section Leader, managing the Food Safety & Quality Department. Alanna holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Kent State University, attained between 1999 and 2006.
