Emily Coughlin's work experience begins in 1989 when they started working as an Attorney at Parker Coulter Daley & White. Emily held this position until 1995. In 1996, they became a Partner at Coughlin Betke LLP and continues to hold this role. In 2014, they joined DRI and has since taken on multiple roles, including Chair of Membership from 2015-2016, National Director from 2014-2017, Second Vice President from 2017-2020, and currently serves as President.
Emily Coughlin pursued their education at various institutions. Emily commenced their studies in 1980 at Brown University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in European History in 1984. Afterward, they continued their academic journey at Suffolk University Law School from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law.
