Samantha O.

Samantha O. has a long and varied work experience. Samantha began their career in 1997 as an Assistant Manager at Waldenbooks. In 1999, they took on the role of Educator at Henderson County Public Schools. In 2007, they became an Educator at Cabarrus County Schools for the J. N. Fries Magnet School STEM Program. From 2010 to 2014, Samantha worked as a Sales Associate at Pottery Barn. Samantha then moved on to become an English Teacher at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools from 2014 to 2020. Most recently, they have been working as Director of Fulfillment Operations, Fulfillment Manager, and Operations at BOXT since 2021.

Samantha O. began their educational journey in 1991 at Indiana State University, where they studied English. Samantha then attended Clemson University from 1995 to 1996, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature, General. From 1997 to 1999, they studied Middle Grades Certification at the University of North Carolina Asheville. Additionally, Samantha O. has obtained certifications from the North Carolina State Board of Education in English: Grades 9-12, Middle Grades English/Language Arts: Grades 6-9, and Middle Grades Social Studies: Grades 6-9. Samantha also holds an Early Adolescence: English/Language Arts certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, as well as a Notary Public certification from the State of Texas.
