Rav Babbra

Rav Babbra has a diverse and extensive work experience in various sectors. In their current role as the Chief Operating Officer at dRISK since 2020, Babbra oversees the testing, training, and validation of autonomous vehicles using a comprehensive taxonomy of edge cases. Previously, Babbra worked at Innovate UK from 2016 to 2020, first as an Innovation Lead in the Automotive sector, managing collaborative R&D projects in the Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) portfolio, and later as a Senior Project Manager overseeing the largest project within Innovate UK.

In 2015, Babbra worked as a Project Manager at Nationwide Building Society, focusing on release management in the Process, Operations, and Work Flow development center. Prior to that, Babbra held the position of Senior Project Manager at Dstl from 2014 to 2015, responsible for the Data Analytics project under the ICAN program. They also worked as a Project, Programme, and Portfolio Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence in 2014, ensuring data availability and quality by auditing processes and procedures.

Babbra's telecom experience also includes roles at Nokia Networks as a Senior System Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer/RF Technical Lead, and RF Design Engineer.

Rav Babbra completed their education history in a chronological order. They started their higher education at the University of Plymouth, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from 1994 to 1996. Prior to this, Rav attended New College Swindon from 1992 to 1994 and received A Levels. Their secondary education took place at The Ridgeway School Swindon from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained their GCSEs.
