Austin Trout

Austin Trout has been working in the software engineering industry since 2013. Austin began their career as a Medical Physics Research at Purdue University in 2013. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Software Developer Contractor at Fourteen Six Street. In 2016, they joined Tangoe as a Software Developer Intern. Austin was then promoted to Associate Software Engineer and later to Software Engineer, where they wrote software consistent with team standards and code style, developed reliable and extensible solutions with a strong focus on scalability, and reviewed code written by other developers. In 2020, they were promoted to Software Engineering Manager, where they managed 11 engineers of varying skills and seniority, advocated and invested in their team's career and growth, and led and participated in agile processes. Austin is currently a Senior Software Engineer at DriverReach.

Austin Trout graduated from Purdue University in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. Austin then attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis for a Graduate Non-Degree in Computer Science from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they enrolled in Udacity's Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree program, which they completed in 2018.
